To Jazmondy dog grooming, Colchesters grooming parlour for that personal touch. We believe in providing our clients with a one on one grooming service for their dogs to ensure the best possible experience your best friend can have when visiting the groomers.

At jazmondy I cater for all breeds and types and always work at the pace of the individual dog. Each appointment I allow at least 2 hours for grooming giving rest time for older or younger dogs if required.

I have always been involved with dogs from an early age. I first became interested in dog grooming when with my husband David started to show one of our AiredaleTerriers (Jaz) at championship dog shows. One year we travelled the UK with Jaz competing in all the major championship shows at the highest level. The more we became involved with dog showing and meeting many other people in the dog world led to a better understanding of dog grooming and behaviour to prepare a dog for the show ring. I did have help and guidance from some very experience dog show breeders and enthusiasts who's advice I will always cherish.

Since those early days I found that dog grooming was for me and decided to attend Otley Agricultural college near Ipswich, Suffolk and over a two year period achieved my City & Guilds and OCN in dog grooming. Since then I have set up a purpose built modern grooming parlour with up to date equipment to carry on the career I enjoy.

My husband and I still show and prepare dogs for show and we have Kerry Blue Terriers in addition to our Airedales, which can be seen in Our Dogs section of this site.
